Balika Balia Nafar Chandra was establised in the year 1957 by some local people interested in education as a small attempt to light a candle of knowledge for local girls . For sixty eight years the school is toiling same effect. The school now has almost two thousand two hundred and fifty four students, with sixty teaching and non teaching staffs.
In the H.S. section the school we run almost twenty two (22) subjects in all the three streams, science, arts and commerce.
We have achieved a lot, yet a lot remains to be achieved.
With the support of all Managing Committee members and local wellwishers, the school is thriving to be one the the best schools in the town.

The School
The school is the only girls school in the area. Therefore, the people of the area have high expectations for the school. The school is once again proud of itself after overcoming the turbulent period of the past two years. When the education system was plunged into darkness due to the corona epidemic, Balia Nafarchandra Balika Vidyalaya introduced online tutoring for the students of class V to XII. With the help of technology in tune with the times, online and offline and hybrid methods of teaching are conducted continuously.
